MAY 22, 2026

Once you have board-level attention, you have to sustain it with consistency and credibility. That means following through on commitments made in the boardroom, updating metrics with the same rigour each quarter, and being willing to share uncomfortable data when the trends are negative. Boards trust executives who bring them problems before they become crises. The HR leader who shares early attrition signals, capability gaps, or engagement deterioration before they show up in financial results becomes a genuinely valued voice in strategic discussions.
