What exactly is solution design?
Solution design is the bridge between what you need and what gets built. We translate your requirements into a concrete configuration and integration blueprint, so implementation becomes disciplined execution rather than discovery on the fly.

Yes. The blueprint is agreed with you before any configuration starts, so there are no surprises during delivery. Sign-off gives everyone a shared, documented reference for what will be built.
What does the design cover?
We design the configuration blueprint of fields, workflows, permissions, approval chains and localisation, the integration architecture, the data model with mapping and validation rules, and the reporting your leaders need. Together these define exactly how BambooHR will work for you.
How do you design for multiple entities or countries?
We design for your structure, entities and local requirements, including regional date formats, currencies, public holidays and leave rules. Each entity's needs are captured in the blueprint so the platform reflects how your organisation actually operates.
Who is involved in solution design?
Our HR, technical and integration consultants work with your process owners and system stakeholders. Involving the people who run each area ensures the design matches real working practices rather than a generic template.
How long does solution design take?
For a single-entity solution the design phase usually runs over a couple of weeks. Complex integration or multi-entity solutions take longer because there is more to map, but the investment pays back by making the build predictable.
How does GDPR influence the design?
Data protection is designed in from the start. The permission model, data model and integration architecture are all shaped to meet GDPR obligations and your data-residency requirements, so compliance is built into the blueprint rather than retrofitted.
How does solution design connect to the rest of the journey?
It takes the requirements from consulting and gap assessment and turns them into a build blueprint that drives implementation, data migration and integration. Good design is what makes those later stages run to plan.
What if our requirements change during the project?
The blueprint is a living reference. If genuine changes arise we manage them through the project's change process, assess the impact, and update the design with your agreement so scope stays controlled and transparent.
Does the design include reporting and analytics?
Yes. We design the dashboards and analytics your leaders need up front rather than leaving reporting to the end. Designing it early means the data model and configuration are set up to produce those insights from day one.
How do we know the design is the right one?
The blueprint is validated against the success measures agreed earlier in the journey and reviewed with your stakeholders before sign-off. That review confirms it meets your requirements and gives you confidence before build begins.
