1.Overview
The BambooHR open API makes it easy to integrate other applications with BambooHR so that data can be shared across systems. The BambooHR API is a RESTful internet protocol built around making semantically meaningful HTTPS requests to access or modify a resource, most commonly an employee record. The API can be used to retrieve or manipulate employee data and to generate reports in several formats.

2.Toegang krijgen tot API
Zolang je deze Terms volgt, verleent BambooHR je een beperkte, niet-exclusieve, niet-overdraagbare licentie onder de intellectuele eigendomsrechten van BambooHR om de API's te gebruiken om jouw applicatie te ontwikkelen, te testen en te ondersteunen, en om jouw klanten het gebruik van jouw integratie van de API's binnen jouw applicatie te laten.
Elke Apps Marketplace Partner-applicatie die toegang heeft tot de API's van BambooHR moet zich authenticeren met behulp van de Inlog-API van BambooHR voordat een API-sleutel wordt verkregen namens een klantgebruiker of klantgegevens. API-sleutels moeten vertrouwelijk blijven en mogen niet worden gepubliceerd of gedeeld met onbevoegde partijen.
3.Omvang van jouw API-toegang
Je moet efficiënte programmering gebruiken die niet te veel verzoeken in te korte tijd laat maken, zoals uitsluitend door BambooHR wordt bepaald. Als dit gebeurt, behoudt BambooHR zich het recht voor om je API-verbindingen te beperken of om jouw BambooHR-account(en) op te schorten of te beëindigen. De API's van BambooHR staan Apps Marketplace-partners toe een integratie te bouwen om elk aangekochte partnerdiensten uitsluitend binnen de BambooHR Apps Marketplace te distribueren.
Jouw API-toegang strekt niet uit tot, en jij mag geen activiteiten ondernemen zoals: (1) zich voordoen als een andere persoon; (2) onjuist verklaren of impliceren dat je verbonden bent met een andere persoon of entiteit; (3) iemands API-toegang gebruiken om hun inhoud aan iemand anders te tonen, bijvoorbeeld als onderdeel van zoekresultaten; (4) de API's in een applicatie gebruiken die volwasseninhoud bevat, gokken promoot, de verkoop van tabak of alcohol aan personen onder de 21 toestaat, of anderszins enige toepasselijke wet- of regelgeving schendt; (5) API's gebruiken om inhoud op te halen die vervolgens wordt samengevoegd met derde-partij zoekresultaten op zodanige manier dat een eindgebruiker de inhoud niet aan BambooHR kan toeschrijven; (6) inhoud indienen of koppelen via de API die intellectueel eigendom of andere rechten van een persoon of entiteit misheeft of schendt, de werking van de API verstoort, iemands privacy- of publiciteitsrechten schendt, een vertrouwelijkheidsverplichting schendt, vertrouwelijke informatie over BambooHR of BambooHR klanten zonder toestemming verstrekt, of lastig, lasterlijk, beledigend, obsceen of anderszins verwerpelijk is naar redelijke oordeel van BambooHR; (7) inhoud indienen die virussen, wormen, malware bevat of andere code bevat die bedoeld is om software of hardware te verstoren, te beschadigen of de functionaliteit te beperken; (8) inhoud indienen die valse of misleidende taal bevat, ongegronde vergelijkende beweringen, spam, kettingbrieven, of enige andere werving.
Daarnaast mag je niet: klantgegevens gebruiken voor meer dan wat is beschreven in de schriftelijke richtlijnen van BambooHR of verder dan wat specifiek is overeengekomen en vereist binnen de reikwijdte van de integratie; gebruik any BambooHR webdiensten, klantensystemen, of data-migratietool om inhoud in het BambooHR-platform te plaatsen buiten wat door BambooHR wordt aanbevolen (in geval van twijfel, neem altijd contact op met de Relationship Manager van BambooHR); ontwikkel een derde partij-integratie of -toepassing zonder schriftelijke bevestiging van een medewerker van BambooHR, en zorg ervoor dat alle gebouwde integraties de schriftelijke richtlijnen van BambooHR volgen; distribueren of toegang verschaffen tot gegevens verkregen via de API's van BambooHR aan iemand anders dan het bedrijf waarvoor je deze Terms bent aangegaan, of een application programming interface creëren die toegang biedt tot inhoud of data (iedereen die toegang wil tot BambooHR-API's en inhoud moet de API's van BambooHR gebruiken om dit te doen); of functies of bedrijfspraktijken implementeren die de professionele reputatie, relaties of professionele ecosysteem van klanten of andere Partners van BambooHR schaden.
4.Testaccounts
You may create up to two BambooHR test accounts for the purpose of testing your application only. You must create these accounts manually and not via any automated means, such as scripts. Test accounts must not interact with non-test accounts or other Partner services (for example, you may not use test accounts to post fake or real jobs to existing BambooHR job board partners) or override the BambooHR API call limits.
5.Ondersteuning en Aanpassingen
BambooHR may provide you with support or modifications for the APIs at its sole discretion and may stop providing support or modifications at any time without notice or liability to you. BambooHR may release subsequent versions of the APIs and require that you use those subsequent versions. Where reasonably possible, BambooHR will keep APIs backward compatible, but will expect a proactive approach from all API users to use the most recent version.
Your continued use of the APIs following a new release of the API or modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of any such changes. You are responsible for ensuring your application remains compatible with the then-current version of the BambooHR API.
6.Kennisgevingen en Voorzieningen van Proces
Informational resources are made available via access to the BambooHR Partner Portal. This content is owned and made available by BambooHR. BambooHR may notify you via updates on the Partner Portal or via the email address associated with your Partner Portal account, test accounts, or BambooHR user account on file. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are kept up to date.
7.Beëindiging en Verwijdering van API-Toegang
BambooHR reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion, without liability to you or any third party, to modify, suspend, or terminate your API access or access to the BambooHR platform. BambooHR may amend these Terms and will provide the latest version upon each agreement renewal.
Upon termination of your API access for any reason, you must immediately cease all use of the APIs, delete all BambooHR data in your possession obtained through the APIs (unless required to retain it by applicable law), and cease representing yourself as a BambooHR API partner.
8.onrechtmatige en abnormale activiteit
Other practices may be relevant in determining legitimate use and BambooHR reserves the right to take any unlawful, prohibited, abnormal, or unusual activity into account in making its determination. BambooHR may, at its option, terminate its relationship with you or suspend your API access immediately if it determines you are using your access contrary to these Terms. Where reasonable, BambooHR will provide you with notice of improper usage before suspending or terminating your access.
9.Monitoring
You agree to assist BambooHR in verifying your compliance with these Terms by providing information about your integration and application, which may also include access to your application and other materials related to your use of the APIs. If you do not demonstrate full compliance with these Terms, BambooHR may restrict or terminate your access to the APIs.
