Wat is Core Hours? | HR-woordenlijst | BambooHR
The part of the working day when all employees must be available, within a flexible-hours arrangement.
Core hours are the periods during which everyone is expected to be present or contactable, even where flexitime allows people to vary their start and finish times around them.
They protect collaboration by guaranteeing overlap for meetings and teamwork, while still giving employees freedom over the rest of their day.
Setting sensible core hours is a practical way to combine flexibility with the coordination a team needs to function.
