Het bestrijkt een spectrum van basisrapportage (hoeveel medewerkers hebben we per afdeling?) via diagnostische analytics (waarom nam verloop toe in Q2?) tot voorspellende analytics (welke medewerkers lopen risico om in de komende zes maanden te vertrekken?) en prescriptieve analytics (welke acties verminderen het verlooprisico voor de geïdentificeerde risicogroep?). De meeste HR-teams opereren voornamelijk op rapportageniveau; hoger op het spectrum komen vereist betere data, meer analytische capaciteit en een nauwere relatie met het bedrijfsmanagement.
Workforce analytics-capaciteit opbouwen
Building workforce analytics capability typically follows a three-stage journey. Stage one: establish data quality and a single source of truth in your HRIS. Stage two: build reporting capability with a self-service reporting tool that allows HR and managers to generate common reports without IT support. Stage three: develop analytical capability, either by developing analytical skills within the HR team, by hiring a dedicated people analyst, or by partnering with the Finance or Data teams who already have the relevant skills. Each stage must be consolidated before the next is attempted.
