10 HR-Best Practices, die Sie in 2026 befolgen sollten
MAY 1, 2026
1. Alles dokumentieren
Every significant HR decision, from a disciplinary action to a flexible-working request, should be documented in writing. Documentation protects the organisation in employment tribunal claims, ensures consistency across managers, and creates an audit trail for pay equity and promotion decisions. Store documents securely in your HRIS and set retention policies that comply with local data protection law.
2. Regelmäßige Gehaltsbenchmarks durchführen
Pay that falls behind the market is one of the leading causes of voluntary turnover. Review your salary bands against external benchmarks at least once per year, using data from at least two reputable salary surveys. Adjust bands as needed and communicate changes to employees. Where you cannot immediately close pay gaps, be honest about the timeline and what employees can do to progress.
3. Train managers, not just employees
Most people leave managers, not companies. Invest in management development as seriously as you invest in technical training. Cover the fundamentals: how to give feedback, how to have difficult conversations, how to conduct a fair appraisal, and how to recognise and respond to signs of burnout. Measure the quality of management through employee engagement scores at the team level and act on low scores promptly.
4. Psychologische Sicherheit aufbauen
