Co je Overtime? | HR glosář | BambooHR
Hours worked beyond an employee's normal contracted hours, sometimes at an enhanced rate.
Overtime is time worked in addition to an employee's standard contracted hours. Depending on the contract and jurisdiction, it may be paid at the normal rate, an enhanced rate, or compensated with time off in lieu.
Clear rules on when overtime is authorised and how it is paid prevent disputes and help control costs.
Employers must also ensure that additional hours do not breach working-time limits or undermine health and wellbeing.
