1.Programme Overview
BambooHR LLC ("BambooHR") offers a referral programme ("Programme") that allows eligible participants ("Referrers") to earn rewards by referring new customers to BambooHR. These Referral Programme Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the Programme and are subject to BambooHR's Customer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
BambooHR reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time and for any reason. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated to active Referrers with reasonable advance notice.
2.Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Programme, a Referrer must: (a) be an active BambooHR customer in good standing with a current, paid subscription; (b) be eighteen (18) years of age or older; (c) be located in a jurisdiction where participation in the Programme is legally permitted; and (d) agree to these Terms.
Employees of BambooHR and its affiliates, and immediate family members of such employees, are not eligible to participate in the Programme. BambooHR reserves the right to disqualify any Referrer who participates in the Programme through fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate means.
3.How to Participate
Eligible customers may participate by accessing the referral dashboard within their BambooHR account and generating a unique referral link or referral code. The Referrer must share this link or code with the prospective customer ("Referee"). The Referee must use the Referrer's unique link or code when signing up for a BambooHR account for the referral to be tracked.
Referrers are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to provide the contact information of any Referee and that the Referee has consented to being contacted. Referrers must not use mass email campaigns, spam, or misleading messaging to distribute referral links.
4.Qualifying Referrals
A referral is a "Qualifying Referral" when: (a) the Referee is a new BambooHR customer who has not previously had a BambooHR account or been in active discussions with BambooHR's sales team within the preceding twelve (12) months; (b) the Referee signs up for a paid BambooHR subscription using the Referrer's unique link or code; and (c) the Referee's first invoice is paid in full.
Self-referrals (where the Referrer and the Referee are the same entity or controlled by the same person), referrals to existing BambooHR customers, and referrals that BambooHR determines in good faith were obtained through fraud or misrepresentation do not qualify.
5.Referral Rewards
Upon confirmation of a Qualifying Referral, the Referrer will receive the reward specified in the BambooHR referral dashboard at the time the referral link was generated. Rewards may be in the form of account credits, gift cards, or other consideration as specified by BambooHR. The Referee may also receive a promotional benefit at BambooHR's discretion.
BambooHR reserves the right to change reward amounts and structures at any time. Changes to reward amounts apply to referrals initiated after the date of the change. There is no cap on the number of Qualifying Referrals a single Referrer may make unless otherwise specified in the referral dashboard.
6.Payment of Rewards
Rewards will be issued within sixty (60) days of confirmation of a Qualifying Referral. Account credits will be applied to the Referrer's next invoice. Gift cards or other non-credit rewards will be delivered to the email address associated with the Referrer's BambooHR account.
Rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated, and may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. BambooHR is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired gift cards or rewards. Rewards may be subject to applicable taxes, for which the Referrer is solely responsible.
7.Disqualification
BambooHR reserves the right to disqualify any referral and withhold or reclaim any rewards if it determines, in its sole discretion, that: the referral was obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms; the Referee cancels or does not pay for their subscription within ninety (90) days; or the Referrer or Referee has violated BambooHR's Terms of Service.
If a reward is reclaimed after it has already been paid out, the Referrer's BambooHR account will be charged for the value of the reward or the reward amount will be deducted from future earned rewards.
