New: Document Management with Built-In E-Signature in BambooHR

Document management for the paperless HR team
BambooHR Document Management provides a centralised, secure repository for all employee documents: contracts, offer letters, policy acknowledgements, disciplinary records, performance reviews, and more. Documents are automatically filed against the employee record and are accessible to HR administrators and, where permissions allow, to employees themselves via self-service. Retention rules can be configured to ensure documents are automatically archived or deleted at the end of their required retention period.
Native e-signature
The new built-in e-signature feature allows HR administrators to send any document for signature without integrating a third-party tool. Create a signature request from any document in BambooHR, specify the signatories (employee, manager, HR, or any combination), and send. Signatories receive an email link, review the document, and sign with a typed or drawn signature. Signed documents are time-stamped, stored securely, and audit-logged. Available for all BambooHR plans at no additional cost from March 2026.
