Globalna strategia wynagrodzeń: jak sprawiedliwie płacić w wielu krajach

MAY 28, 2026

Managing pay across multiple countries is one of the most complex challenges in international HR. Here is a framework for getting it right.

Główne wyzwanie: lokalna a globalna sprawiedliwość

International compensation strategy involves a fundamental tension between local market fairness (paying competitively in the local talent market, which means accepting significant salary differences between countries) and internal equity (ensuring that employees in comparable roles feel fairly treated relative to global colleagues). There is no perfect resolution to this tension: organisations that pay fully to local markets may have employees doing similar work for very different salaries, which can damage collaboration and morale when it becomes visible. Organisations that apply a global standard risk being uncompetitive in high-cost markets.

Praktyczne ramy

Most multinational organisations address this by segmenting their workforce into global grades with a consistent job evaluation methodology applied across all countries, then applying country-specific salary bands for each grade that reflect the local market at a defined percentile (typically the 50th). This allows employees in the same grade to be compared on the same terms while ensuring local market competitiveness. Communicate the framework transparently to employees so they understand that differences between countries reflect local market conditions, not relative value placed on the work.
