A standard health check takes one to two weeks depending on the size and complexity of your environment. We agree the scope and timeline with you at the start so it fits around your team's availability.
What areas do you assess?
We review configuration and workflow design, the permission and security model, data quality, integration health and coverage, reporting and analytics maturity, GDPR and compliance posture, and adoption and self-service usage. Each area is scored against best practice with evidence.
Can you assess a platform that is not BambooHR?
Yes. The assessment benchmarks any HR platform against European best practice. Whether you run BambooHR or another system, we surface the gaps, risks and quick wins that will improve how it serves your organisation.
Is a gap assessment useful before we implement?
Very much so. For prospective customers a gap assessment is the ideal way to de-risk a project before it starts, giving you a clear picture of readiness, data quality and the effort involved before you commit.
Is the health check included for existing customers?
For existing BambooHR customers an annual health check is included as part of our white-glove partnership. It keeps your configuration, data and adoption aligned with best practice as your organisation evolves.
What do we receive at the end?
You receive a scored assessment across each area, backed by evidence, and a prioritised remediation plan that sets out effort, impact and sequencing. It tells you not just what to fix but the order that delivers the most value.
Who needs to be involved from our side?
We typically need input from your HR administrators, someone with knowledge of your integrations and IT, and access to your configuration and reports. We keep the demand on your team light and do the analysis ourselves.
How does the assessment handle GDPR and compliance?
Compliance posture is one of the scored areas. We check how personal data is stored, who can access it, and whether your configuration supports GDPR obligations and data-residency needs, then flag any gaps in the remediation plan.
How does a gap assessment fit into the wider journey?
It sits within the assessment and consultation stage, alongside HR technology consulting. The findings feed directly into solution design if you are implementing, or into continuous improvement if you are already live.
What happens if the assessment uncovers serious problems?
We prioritise the most critical findings, such as security or compliance risks, and set out a clear remediation path. Nothing is hidden, and you decide with us how quickly to address each item based on impact and effort.
How do you measure whether remediation worked?
The initial scores act as a baseline, so a follow-up assessment can show measurable improvement in configuration, data quality, adoption and compliance. This makes the value of the work visible rather than assumed.
