תפקידו של מנהל/ת הטבות
מנהל/ת הטבות מנהל/ת את הניהול השוטף של תכנית ההטבות לעובדים של הארגון. תחומי האחריות כוללים בדרך כלל קליטה ושינויים, תיאום מול ספקי ביטוח ופנסיה, טיפול בפניות עובדים לגבי ההטבות שלהם, הבטחת עמידה בחקיקה רלוונטית (רישום אוטומטי, מיסוי ביטוח חיים, דיווח ל-HMRC), והפקת דוחות שוטפים על עלויות ההטבות והשימוש בהן. בארגונים קטנים יותר, תפקיד זה נמצא בתוך פונקציית משאבי האנוש הרחבה; בארגונים גדולים יותר, ייתכן שזו מומחיות ייעודית או צוות ייעודי.

The tipping point is usually around 200-300 employees, when the volume of benefit changes, queries, and compliance tasks becomes difficult to manage alongside a generalist HR role. Signs that you need dedicated resource include: benefits queries consuming more than half a day per week for a generalist, errors in benefit enrolments causing employee complaints, auto-enrolment assessment cycles being completed manually rather than automatically, and leadership requesting benefits utilisation data that nobody has time to produce.

Look for candidates with experience of your specific benefit types (group risk, flexible benefits, defined contribution pensions) and familiarity with the platforms you use, whether that is a standalone benefits platform, your HRIS, or a combination. Attention to detail and discretion are essential, since benefits administration involves sensitive personal and financial data. Professional qualifications through the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) or the CIPD are a plus.
