एक candidate profile यह परिभाषित करता है कि आप क्या ढूँढ़ रहे हैं, इससे पहले कि आप खोज शुरू करें। यहाँ बताया गया है कि ऐसा profile कैसे बनाया जाए जो आपकी पूरी hiring process को अधिक स्पष्ट बनाए।
Candidate profile क्या है
A candidate profile, जिसे ideal candidate profile या hiring persona भी कहा जाता है, उस व्यक्ति की विशेषताओं को परिभाषित करता है जिसके किसी विशिष्ट भूमिका में सफल होने की सबसे अधिक संभावना है। यह नौकरी विवरण में दी गई duties की सूची से आगे जाकर ideal hire के skills, experience, behavioural attributes, और motivations का वर्णन करता है। इसे नौकरी विज्ञापित होने से पहले बनाया जाता है और पूरी recruitment process के दौरान उपयोग किया जाता है ताकि सभी निर्णय किसी अस्पष्ट 'culture fit' की भावना के बजाय एक consistent standard के विरुद्ध लिए जाएँ।
इसे कैसे बनाएँ
अपने वर्तमान शीर्ष performers में से दो या तीन का, उसी या समान भूमिका में, interview करके शुरुआत करें। पूछें कि वे कौन-से skills सबसे अधिक उपयोग करते हैं, अपने पहले छह महीनों में उन्हें सबसे कठिन क्या लगा, उन्हें क्या प्रेरित करता है, और यदि वे अपनी ही replacement को hire कर रहे होते तो वे क्या देखते। इसे hiring manager के इस दृष्टिकोण के साथ जोड़ें कि 12 महीनों में भूमिका में सफलता कैसी दिखती है। इसे चार से छह must-have criteria और तीन से चार nice-to-have criteria में distilled करें। must-haves आपके screening process का आधार बनते हैं।
Bias कम करने और consistency सुधारने के लिए profiles का उपयोग
A documented candidate profile reduces the scope for individual interviewers to apply different criteria or to favour candidates who remind them of themselves. Before each interview, all interviewers should read the profile and know which of the criteria their interview is designed to assess. Structured scoring against the profile criteria, rather than a subjective overall impression, makes hiring decisions more defensible and more equitable.
