What Ask BambooHR does
Ask BambooHR is a generative AI assistant built into the BambooHR platform. Employees can ask natural-language questions such as 'How many days of annual leave do I have remaining?' or 'What is our parental leave policy?' and receive accurate, instant answers drawn from their own HR data and company documents. HR administrators can use Ask BambooHR to generate custom reports, surface workforce trends, and draft policy summaries without manual data extraction.
Privacy and data governance
Ask BambooHR is built on a privacy-first architecture. Employee queries are processed within your secure BambooHR environment and never used to train external AI models. Role-based access controls ensure that employees can only retrieve information they are authorised to see. HR administrators retain full audit logs of all queries and responses. Ask BambooHR is available on all BambooHR plans from July 2026.
