BambooHR now integrates live market compensation data directly into your HRIS, so you can see how your salaries compare to the market without leaving the platform.
How compensation benchmarking works in BambooHR
BambooHR Compensation Benchmarking draws on a continuously updated dataset of market pay rates covering more than 1,500 job titles across the UK, Ireland, EU, and North America. HR administrators can view the market median, 25th percentile, and 75th percentile for any role in their organisation and compare it directly to the salaries of current employees in that role. Roles where a significant proportion of employees fall below the market 25th percentile are automatically flagged for review.
Pay review planning
The new Compensation Planning module allows HR leaders to model pay review scenarios before the annual cycle begins. Set a total pay review budget, apply different percentage increases by grade or performance rating, and see the cost impact in real time. Once approved, individual salary changes can be issued as digital letters directly from BambooHR. Compensation Benchmarking is available as an add-on for BambooHR Pro and Elite customers from May 2026.
